The Gardners
We
are William and Patricia, a husband and wife team from Upstate New
York. William is a native of New York and Patricia is a transplant from
Vermont. Both went to school and got degrees in Business Management.
Both have a love for nature and growing plants. After purchasing a house
and settling down in William's home town, he began brewing beer with a
friend. His love for beer soon developed beyond just a hobby and
even Patricia, who doesn't like beer, soon found an appreciation for the
intricacies of the brew. And, what would beer be without the hops? Our
back yard became the hop yard for William's home brews. It didn't take
too long for Patricia to get involved in growing the hops. Now
with William's love of beer, our mutual love plants and our desire to
have our own business we have found our calling. We are growing hops.
The Weingolds
Steve and Denise own and operate Windy Ridge Farm in Johnsonville, NY. They spend their time raising and caring for llamas as well as goats, chickens, cats, dogs, and lets not forget their son and daughter. They have a picturesque 10 Acre farm and are living out their dream of residing in the country and owning/operating a farm. They also share an appreciation of fine beer, specifically IPAs, and always have something good on tap (sometimes even one of Steve's homebrews)! The Weingolds and Gardners were introduced through their sons Devin and Michael respectively, and quickly became friends. The Weingolds were the first people the Gardners thought of as business partners for this Hop adventure. With their love of beer and hops in combination with their existing farm and not to mention their wonderful personalities they were/are a perfect fit.
The Future..
Now
both families forge ahead into this wonderful new world of growing
hops. With a strong will and work ethic combined with passion, business
sense, and dreams the future is unknown....but it is a bright future
indeed....

Michael Bolognani

Our Heavy Equipment operator. Devin takes the lead when it comes to all our tractor and excavation needs. Also an all purpose guy that goes above and beyond for HopRidge Farms. Click his pic to send him a message.
Jessica Weingold
Jessica is a weeding machine! She helps out where ever needed and also serves as our official Frances watcher. Jessica is always enthusiastic but her favorite activities are weeding and tying coir at the top wire (probably because she gets to ride in the hopmobile). Click on her pic to send her an email.
Frances Gardner
Probably our most energetic team member and arguably the cutest. She keeps us all on our toes and is always willing to help out.
